AvantGarde

A couple of weeks ago I wanted to do a editorial all about off white things. Dress props ect…… And wanted to incorporate Just one color into it. And why not something bold. RED!! PLEASE! I searched high and low for something and then I found it! I managed to get my hands on a Avantgarde headpiece made by a nyc artist Angelica Brigade. And rented it from Dream Shoot Rentals.
I fell in LOVE with it. I always want my images to have a bold and unique statement.
Then the second piece was from Bride and Gown in Glens Falls. Eliza the owner was kind enough to let me browse and pull a piece for the shoot. The two pieces went amazing together. I didn’t want it to be your average Bridal shoot. I wanted to different. This is what I strive for! I always tell myself I want my images to stand out from the rest.

3rd. I needed someone unique looking. Sam is amazing at pulling of surreal type images. She’s got naturally red hair, freckles and AMAZING skin!

So the shoot was finally coming together, I was just in need of props. Which as you know , its hard to come by in upstate ny….lol I did need something simple though. I did not want it to be to distracting. So I decided to go with Creates. You can use them for just about anything,

Hair and Makeup. Clean and simple! Dewy skin. This was done by my friend Jennifer From True Grace Makeup

Here is a collection of images to show you the progress of the day.
